Rob Hollis, a native of Colorado, has been immersed in the world of construction and design for as long as he can remember. His journey began at a young age, working side by side with his father—a master carpenter—who passed down not only his tools but a deep respect for craftsmanship, precision, and building with purpose.

That hands-on foundation led Rob to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, which he completed in 2015. Eager to bring his own vision to life, he launched the Colorado Environmental Design Company shortly after graduation. While building his business, Rob continued his education, earning a Master of Architecture from CU Denver in 2020.

In 2025, Rob officially became a licensed architect, combining decades of real-world experience with academic expertise. His work reflects a deep understanding of how structures serve people and place—drawing from both his roots in carpentry and a forward-thinking approach to sustainable, intentional design.

Rob is passionate about creating spaces that are not only functional and beautiful but grounded in the stories of those who use them.
